In this blog video, I reviewed the song “Free Mind” by Tems.
What does it mean to be free?
How does one obtain freedom?
Does freedom come with a cost?
When I think of “free,” I think of “release” because I know I’m technically not free.
But I encounter aspects of freedom daily, like a bit of time to myself or a free trial, etc., but the one thing I like to tap into is a free mind, which to me is a release of the stress and worry, the negativity, the unknown.
Now when I heard the song free mind by Tems at first, I liked it because, melodically, it’s beautiful.
Now when I heard the song Free Mind by Tems at first listen, I liked it because, melodically, it’s beautiful.
After listening to it a few more times, I heard it for what it is to me. It took me to a place of release and connection to The Most High. I listened to the song and cried and smiled once I realized how it spoke to me.
It uplifts me.
It reminds me I am not alone. It reminds me that the fight is not over and not to give up but release me from the worries that I may feel at that moment because it’s minimal compared to the bigger picture.
I thank Tems for the talent and creation of the song.
